The red carpet a time to lust or loath over best and worded dressed, as we all know not everyone gets it right. Lena Dunham in that Canary yellow drop waist dress was a disaster to her shape and figure but on the other hand 12 years a slave star and new comer to the awards Lupita Nyong'o in a beautiful Ralph Lauren red cape dress making a huge statement in the right way. Where as not so 'new girl' Zoeey Deschanel looked incredible in Oscar De La Renta's gold, ivory toned tulle skirt and crop top with a simple pop of red lipstick overall a quirky yet sophisticated look with her unique vintage twist I loved it! Maria Menounos looked flawless in a statement pink dress with cut outs.
Cate Blanchett with her couture pure black lace Armani Gown hugged her in all the right places with such a small gram she looked elegant and sophisticated. Like royalty she waltzes down the red carpet to later collect a golden globe.
Fashion police co host Giuliana Rancic took a step outside her comfort zone in a floaty Lorena Sarbu princess gown, with a sweetheart neckline and beaded bodice in a beautiful plum, maroon mix but she pulled it off brilliantly with such a petite frame it was tailored to her size immaculately and she truly looked dazzling. Considering this women beat cancer and has a baby at home she didn't look the least bit stressed she looked totally beautiful and I lover her look.
The best dressed couple goes to Matthew McConaughey and his incredible wife Camila Alves looking stunning in a black sequined Dolce &Gabbana gown and McConaughey in green evolves which looked incredible with the reflection of light onto the sequins making Camila's gown shimmer a green tone. They simple looked incredible next to one another spot on.
By far an incredible nights Leonardo Di Caprio receives his first we'll deserves in my eyes golden globe award along with many other brave and talented actors amongst and below him. Truly an incredible event and great start to the new year. I can't wait too see best dressed at the oscars.
