The Fashion Historian Madame Gres
Madame Gres was a couturier phenomenon known for using delicate pleats to mold fabrics into sculptors of Greek goddesses. Originally aspiring to be a sculptor but was unsuccessful in achieving that dream so delved into millinery changed her name and ran a fashion house.

Creating a range of sophisticated garments and one of the last courtiers to create a ready to wear line which she named a 'prostitution' shows her inapt depth of unique and individuality exuding from her designs and her motif of style.
